Close Corporation Member Amendments (Add/Remove)

Member changes refer to the process of adding or removing members from a Close Corporation (CC). This is a formal procedure that must be submitted to and approved by CIPC in order to update the official company records.
To process a member change, we require the following documents and details:
Existing Close Corporation registration documents
Details of all current members
Names of members to be added or removed
Certified ID copies of all members (existing, new, and/or to be removed)
A Notice of Meeting (prepared by us and sent to you for signature)
Minutes of the Meeting (prepared by us and sent to you for signature)
A Power of Attorney, authorising us to act on your behalf (also prepared and sent to you for signature)
The full process typically takes 7–14 business days, but may take longer depending on CIPC’s processing capacity.
Once the changes have been approved, you will receive the updated Close Corporation Certificate (CK2/CK2A) confirming the new membership structure.
