A Private Company ((Pty) Ltd) without a registered name differs from the standard process in that no Name Reservation is submitted. Instead, the company will be assigned a System-Generated Name (e.g., K2016123456). This does not mean the business must trade under this name—you are free to use any trading name of your choice.
To register a company without a name, you will need to provide the following information and documents:
The number of directors and certified ID copies
The company’s physical and postal address (can be the same as your home address)
Company contact details (email addresses and phone numbers)
Director details, including addresses, emails, and phone numbers
A Limited Power of Attorney authorizing us to register the company on your behalf, signed by all directors (this will be emailed to you once your order is placed)
The registration process takes approximately 3–5 working days, but delays may occur if the CIPC is experiencing a high volume of applications or technical issues.
Once your company has been successfully registered, you will receive the following documents by email:
Company Registration Certificate (COR 14.3)
Notice of Incorporation (COR 14.1)
Confirmation of Initial Directors (COR 14.1A)
Memorandum of Incorporation (MOI – COR 15.1A)
Share Certificate(s) (as required)
FREE BEE Affidavit (optional)
FREE Business Bank Account (optional)
